We're BAACCCK

We finally made it to the Middle West as I like to call it. Things have been adventurous to say the least. Aside from the "Money Pit" of a home that we live in, the "war torn" looking homes that surround us, the fact that we live DEEP in the ghetto, and we pay 90210 type rent . . . .*singin* every-thing is coming up roses." The people in this city so far seem really really nice. I'm surprised and a tad skeptical because I'm not used to it. I must admit it is refreshing. That's one of the best things so far. Of course the DOD of LOVE it! They've been running from room to room, from the 1st floor up to the 3rd. I've yet to really be in the basement because coming from Cali that's as foreign to me as snow on Christmas.

Other than our airline adventures with the "family friendly" South.West airlines *smirking* and Ms. Ayana feeling the need to wander the 3 different airports we happened to land on it was a snap *snappin fingers* getting here. *cough* One of these days I'll have to tell the story of how quickly flying with children can get one put off airplanes BEFORE they even board. I watched in horror as this almost happened to a poor lady on the same flight as ours. *shakin head*

Well that's all for now. Hopefully I'll have some pics to share of our traveling adventures or maybe even an update from the hubby. Now that we've reached the 21st century here in "Da Lou" (i.e. an internet connection) I can get up to speed.
